LET'S CHANGE THE WORLD -
ONE PIECE OF JEWELLERY AT A TIME
Scandinavian Jewellery Designer
is a change maker within the ethical jewellery business and dedicated to bring you jewellery designs, that reflect fair mining and fair trade throughout the supply chain.
"I make my designs in close cooperation with my clients and let the raw materials play an active part in the design. I’m fascinated by the beauty of rough gemstones and often like to keep the natural beauty,” says Anna.
Anna's been working with mercury-free gold since 2009, and today she makes most of her pieces in Fairmined Ecological Gold, to protect both the miners and the environment. FAIRMINED certified gold and silver guarantees you a transparent supply chain from mine to market.
"I choose FAIRMINED gold, because this certification standard gives the highest premium to the miners and thus an increased possibility to invest in the future, both regarding working and living conditions. I have taken an online course on edX, "From the Ground Up: Managing and Preserving our Terrestrial Ecosystems" to further deepen my knowledge on the background. Apart from that I'm actively engaged in international work with other colleagues on how to change the jewellery industry for the better, how to support the artisanal small-scale miners to better working and living conditions. As a designer and maker I see it as one of my greatest responsibilities to be able to present my clients with transparent sourcing, and I can only urge you to ALWAYS ask questions about the origin and source of the raw materials.
All my jewellery pieces are handcrafted in Denmark, by myself and a few, carefully selected goldsmiths.
I look forward to making ethical jewellery for you."
